Taylorsville Days

This was our 1st year to check out Taylorsville Days. We loved it or should we say, Kaylen loved it. We went with Bekah's sister's family since Kaylen loves her cousin Brielle. They are only 3 months apart and the best of friends.

 Brielle wasn't happy about riding the ride without her mom. We thought Kaylen wouldn't be happy, but it was the other way around.

 Kaylen waved everytime she went around and around.

 The horse ride was fun, it went up and down.

 Cousin Brielle was happy to have her mom on the ride with her.

Kaylen riding the Choo choo Train. She went on the Duck, the Horse, and the Train ride. She loved every minute of it and wanted to go again and again. Next year we will have to buy more tickets and bring more money. We think she is ready for Lagoon or Disneyland?

Memorial Day Outings

It was Bekah's dad's birthday the day before Memorial Day and we always have a family BBQ. Here he is opening his presents. Of course he got his ipad he has always wanted.

 The Frost family added a new addition to their family. He was only 5 days old. What a cute little one.

Kaylen was such a good traveler. She would sit in her car seat and read her book. Of course she had to have her shades on. She even did great on the flight, it makes a difference to have new toys, new books, and looking at pictures.

Brandon's sister/Jordan's mom grave. We came here and spread the ashes of Steve Rauen, Brandon's brother. It was nice to be with family.

 We went to the Arizona Zoo. Kaylen loved all the animals, especially the ones that were close to us, moved, or made noise.

Kaylen loved the Giraffe's. It was there feeding time and you could pay $2 to feed them carrots, we didn't pay, but we sure got up close to pet them. Kaylen got a little nervous but seemed to enjoy being that close.

A bird. We were surprised at how close Kaylen got, she just wanted to be up close.

We sure had lots of fun in Arizona. Not sure when we will be able to get there again. It was so good to see family & be there for Jordan's big day. Congrats to Jordan! He graduated Top 10 at his high school. He is going off to college in the fall, which will keep him plenty busy.

Our Anniversary was on a Wednesday, so as soon as Brandon came home we ran out the door. The munchkin got babysat by Grandma & Grandpa F, and we went to dinner at Madeline's. Great food, and a great price. We can't believe it's been 9 years!
