We made a quick, last minute trip to Sacramento to see Brandon's dad. We knew this would be the last flight for the whole family for awhile. We took advantage of flying standby knowing that this is Kaylen's last time to be free! Once she turns two, she will cost more $$$$. And before little brother comes into this world. Brandon wanted to go to San Francisco for the day and wanted to see the beach. That is exactly what we did. We were in California for only 50 hours. A quick trip, just what we all needed.

July/Aug 2011 

We bought a swimming pass at Taylorsville pool. It was the best thing we ever did because we had so much fun! Bekah & Kaylen would go two or three times a week, while Brandon would be able to go one or two times a week. We bought a half a tent that was easy to set up and give us shade when we needed it. All was worth every penny! We sure enjoyed swimming this  year, we hope next year will be even better!

Kaylen took one swim lesson at 10 months old, she didn't like it one bit. The instructor took her away from her mom, and she didn't like that. She even got dunked and had her eyes open the whole time. Next year we will get her in more swim lessons. She loves to go swimming, but not the lesson. She is our little fish!
