Oh Christmas Tree.... Oh Christmas Tree.....I know your thinking it's too late for this, but I'm going to post it anyways. We each got so many presents. Too many to think of at this point. Look at all those presents under the tree!!!

My parents are on the left and Brandon's mom is on the right. They just loved their presents!! I love to see thier faces, they never have an idea of what they are getting. Until next Christmas!

Sleeping on the Couch!

Who is in trouble, and what did I do? You might be thinking Brandon and I got in a fight or something, but that's not the case. I've had a terrible head cold for the last couple of days, and I cough all night. So I have been kind enough to let my husband have the bed so he could get a good nights rest. He has been working 14 hour days, and I feel it's the least I could do. I think if I stay away from him for a few days, hopefully he won't get my sickness. I wish him luck! How many times have you slept on the couch? How many times has your spouse slept on the couch. Were you in trouble?

Brandon goes hunting

Isaiah from Hawaii visited his in laws here in Salem, UT, they are very gracious and always include us in their plans while they are here. They usually do something new and fun for both Isaiah and Brandon. Brandon is from San Francisco and didn't grow up hunting but he got a pheasant on the hunt. He was the first one to shoot a bird and shot several more with the Jensens' and Isaiah. Russ Jensen and his sons and his excellent hunting dog got all but one of the birds they paid to hunt! See how beautiful the color of these birds are. What a great experience he had. He had a very sore shoulder but he managed to grind through the pain to do this just once in his life, he will have great memories of this day.

Thanksgiving! Better late than never!

Thanksgiving is a time to give thanks! I am thankful for my many blessings. This year Thanksgiving was at Brandon's mom's house, and it was so good. In the 6 1/2 years that Brandon and I have been married, Marie would have seafood instead of turkey. This year she cooked a yummy turkey. I had no idea Turkey could taste like that. Thanks Marie, your an excellant cook. You're the best!

Happy New Year!

Cheers to 2010! A new decade, a new year. How do you say it? 20-10 or two thousand and ten? I am looking forward to another great year. More places to visit, and people to see. Where shall we go next? Hopefully next year there will be more blogging done by me.

Projects! Projects! And more Projects!

We have been busy organizing! It's been great to get some shelves done in the shed, garage, and laundry room. Thanks Brandon and Thanks Jake for all your help, we couldn't of done it with out you. "You teach a man to fish, you feed him for a life time."

BEFORE
Jake Ward is a wonderful friend and excellent craftsman, he did most of the work you see here. Since Brandon lost the use of his left shoulder and arm he mostly handed Jake supplies and held brackets for Jake while building this magnificent storage shelf in our garage. Thanks JAKE!!!

AFTER

BEFORE
After being so inspired by Jake to create more shelf space in our garage, we visited our next door neighbor who has lots of peg board walls and wire rack shelves and discussed some ideas to create our own. We visited Home Depot and got supplies. I was Brandon's left arm this time and we were able to install this wire rack shelf above or 4 X 8 ft peg board wall!

AFTER

We were so inspired by Jake to add shelving to our garage that we installed a wire rack shelf and a peg board to the adjoining garage wall. Our next door neighbor has lots of it installed in his garage and he gave us some great ideas. We went to Home Depot for supplies and I was Brandon's left arm for this project. Look at our great big 4 X 8 ft peg board and wire rack shelf! - Awesome!

Cookies!

These cookies were soooooooooo good!! I told you I was going to make them, and I did. Shaving the chocolate was the longest part and the hardest part because it was melting. You gotta try it!
