The Living Planet Aquarium

 We went to The Living Planet Aquarium with my neighborhood mothers group. Kaylen loves to see fish. As soon as we pulled up to it, she saw a picture of Nemo from her car seat. She just kept saying "Nemo, Nemo" over and over. She was also looking for Dory, a shark, a turtle, and the penguins. She would get nervous when the fish or animals would get close to her through the glass.

 Her favorite thing was the penguins! She could stand here all day. Thank goodness we now have a pass and can go anytime we want. Let us know if you want to come with us.

Chicken!

 This girl loves chicken & eats it a lot. She even loves steak too.

Easter

 Kaylen eating candy (but she calls them tamaz, we have no clue why)

 Checking out her basket filled with a coloring book, crayons, bubbles, books, toy bunny, toy chick, and a few eggs of candy she can eat.

 This being her 3rd egg hunt of the season, she finally just would leave the basket and take the eggs to it so she didn't spill them.

Easter Egg Hunts

 We had our very own Easter egg hunt at Grandma and Grandpa F in their front room. The moment we were suppose to have the egg hunt, it was down pouring rain. We didn't want to go outside, but everyone else did, so we had our own in the front room. She had plenty of eggs and stuff to get. She quickly found out there was candy in them and then things went a little slower. She kept saying "Open!"

Another egg hunt in my sisters neighborhood. Every time she would bend over to pick up an egg the other eggs would fall out of her basket. She had fun anyways, and didn't stop to eat the candy on the way.

Lucky!

We sure are Lucky to have this little girl. We love her!

Outside & Cupcake

 Kaylen loves to ride this bike, she gets the royal treatment of getting pushed around where ever she wants. We just have to watch her closely cause she can hop off at anytime.

 She loves to run up and down our driveway too. She can get going pretty fast, because our driveway is a little steep.

Every night getting Kaylen ready for bed, you can ask her what jamies she wants to wear and she always says "Cupcake!" She wants to wear them every night, but they have to get washed :( Aren't those cute jamies she is wearing?

18 Months

Where has the time gone? We can't believe she is 18 months old. We have so much fun with her.

• Talking: She loves to talk, talk, talk. She knows a lot of words. When she reads books, she remembers them. She loves to read. She repeats anything you say, especially the last word of the sentence. She is learning so much. Some funny things she says are: "I see you", "Here you go", "Sorry", "Cock-a-doodle-doo", "Umbrella", "Quiet", & "Amen". You just have to hear her say it, she gets her little tongue rolling.
• Hair: She loves to brush her hair every night. She wants "pretty" hair. She is really good when we do her hair with the curling iron. We think it's growing! It seems to be getting a little darker, but still has blondish-brown hair.
• She walks all over the place, she says "Walk" when she wants to get out of your arms. She wants to walk by herself and not hold your hand. She is very independent that way. She started walking between 15-16 months.
• She loves to watch: Sesame Street, Curious George, & Barney.
• She loves to sing and dance. She knows all the words so some songs, just can't pronounce them all. The songs are: Itsy bitsy spider, Twinkle Twinkle, I love to see the Temple, and Row Row Row your boat.
• Eating: She loves noodles, hot dogs, soy yogurt, soy pudding, cookies, pretzels, crackers, fruit roll ups, chips, & the blue powerade drink. She is still allergic to dairy and eggs, but we are working on that.
• Teeth: 13 teeth now!
