Grandpa John & Steve

October was a very busy month for us. Kaylen has been sick and had 2 colds, and pick eye, but in the middle of this we had to take a quick trip to visit Grandpa John & Steve. Steve is Brandon's brother, he has Huntington's disease. Steve's health was slipping and wasn't doing so well and we had to go and say our good bye's. He passed away while we were there but we were so glad Kaylen finally got to meet her uncle Steve.

 Kaylen is usually scared of everyone, but she loved to go to her Grandpa John. We were so happy!

She loves to say Hi to everyone, every time at the store or at church she is trying to get every one's attention to say Hi. If you see her, please say Hi.

Every time we ask for kisses, she comes over and starts puckering up. We love all the kisses!

Walks: Not yet. She started crawling at 10 months old, and still enjoys doing that. She is all army crawl all the way.

She loves: books, bath time, dancing to music, stroller rides, jumping in her crib, standing up, going up and down stairs on her tummy, and the swing at the park.

She has 4 teeth, 2 up and 2 down.

We love her so much! We can't believe how much she has grown!

Gardner Village

We went to Gardner Village on Oct. 8, 2011. Here are a few pictures taken. We wish we had more family photos taken, we were all dressed so nice. Kaylen is 13 months old. She kept calling the pumpkin a ball. She liked to touch it. You should go and see the witches, what a fun place to be in October.

These pictures were taking by my sisters sister-in-law sister. She took these in June, wanting to sell the tutu and bow. We finally got these pictures. They are pretty cute girls to me.

 She didn't really try to eat her cake, she just was trying to move it off the plate and onto the floor. We put a piece in her mouth and she just spit it out.

 1st time with a dum dum sucker, she loved it!

 I've always wanted to make cakes and decorate them. I watch Ace of Cakes all the time. So this was my chance to show everyone what I could. I started with a stack of cake. Then I built the duck and put a crumb coat on.

 Then I started icing the cake. It took 2 1/2 -3 hours

 I think my hand was going to fall off, but I kept going.

 My friend made the bow out of fondant and the eyes are big chocolate chips.

She is super cute and I couldn't be happier!

Little Funnies

Wednesday morning we were feeding Kaylen breakfast, when I had to sneeze. It took about a minute for it to come out, but the whole time I stared at the light saying: a---, a---, a----. Then, Kaylen helped finish my sentence by saying, "achoo, achoo, achoo". After I sneezed, I couldn't help but laugh. She is so smart!
