Blogging Tips

I've made it a goal to do better at my blog this year, but it don't think it's helped. We've been back from Hawaii for about a month and I haven't posted any pictures. Slacker! I know! I'm not really busy and have no excuse. I think I need tips on blogging. Maybe a blogging lesson. What to write about? What to say? I guess I've never been one to share my feelings, so that must be it. Any tips or give me a lesson on blogging would be very helpful. Please leave a comment. Throw me a rope and send help my way :) Pictures from Hawaii are on the way. Hold Please!

  1. Hold Please! You're funny, Bekah....
I'd love to give you a blogging lesson. I'll send you an email with super easy instructions. I think the creative juices start to flow once you find a custom back ground you love.
    I recommend www.thecutestblogontheblock.com

    It's the easiest to use.
Just go to the left side of the site: click Free Backgrounds.
    Then click: Blogspot Backgrounds
Click on the one you want- there are 100's of all themes.

It give you really easy instructions to follow. Just do them one at a time... and call me if you get scared! ;)

Once you have it set on the back ground you like... we'll take you to another step.

You may have to go to Customize at the top of your blog.. then to Layout.. then to Fonts and colors to change your writing color once you have the back ground that makes your heart happy.
Seems like a lot- but I promise it's easy and even fun.
    xoxo,
    R~

  2. That's funny that she mentions the custom background - before we customized ours (also with Cutestblogontheblock) we had the same background template that you are currently using.

My tip is - replace your journal with your blog. Use this as a place to record the big things going on in your life right now. If you don't want the whole world to know about your life, make your blog private. Then you can control who reads the content you post. Make a goal to update at least once a week. I love when people comment on my blog - and that drives me to post more often. If you don't post often people will stop reading your blog.
