Opening presents! Christmas!

Christmas Eve: All Mommy wants is a Silent Night!

 Christmas Eve at Grandpa & Grandma F's. Kaylen was so sick with a bad cold, & asthma. We couldn't stay to decorate sugar cookies cause she had an asthma attack & we ran home to do a breathing treatment with the nebulizer. So sad to be sick at Christmas!

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care. In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there.

 We stayed home all day on Christmas day so we wouldn't get any other family members sick. It was pretty low key. Maybe we should do that every year.

 Kaylen was good at sitting on Santa's lap, as long as she got the candy cane. She loved to jingle the bells on his sash too. We were so proud of her for being a big girl.

We love to swaddle the 1st 6 months of life, at least until they can roll over.

I would love to be wrapped up like that, all nice and warm!

Big sister is such a big helper. She gives him blankets, toys, & puts his binkie in all without me having to ask. I'm a Happy Helper!

Thanksgiving 2012

 This year was the year to be at Bekah's parents. Yes, all 7 kids + her parents + their spouses + 18 grandkids were there. Brandon makes an excellent homemade stuffing which takes over 1 hour to prepare, so this year he had a helper. She was so good! She couldn't/wouldn't eat it, but she helped. Her hands were clean, I promise!

After a long day, we all needed to go to bed early. We are Thankful for so many things. We love our little family.

Asthma Attack

 Poor Kaylen had a cold this time of year. She had a little cough, but got a little excited & started having an asthma attack.  She couldn't breathe, we tried everything!

• We took her outside in the cold air to open her air
• Made a hot bath to breathe in the mist
• Gave her inhaler

Brandon ended up taking her to Insta Care-Kid Care. She had to have 2 breathing treatments to help her. Those breathing treatments made her really hyper, she had so much energy and it was 11pm! We think she was up until midnight, singing herself to sleep. Needless to say, the next couple of days were rough! We've had to do the breathing treatments a few times. Living in Utah doesn't help with the inversion, this air quality really affects her. Poor girl. She does a great job at holding the mask on and breathing all her medicine!
