Cousin Brielle

Kaylen and Brielle and the best of friends. They play so well together. They might want the toy that the other person has, but they both wait until they are playing with it, then go pick it up. They are 3 months apart from each other, but you wouldn't of guessed it. They loved to sit on these stairs and run away when the picture was being taken. They thought it was a fun game. Kaylen always calls her "B.L." When you ask if she wants to go bye bye, she says "Grandpa and B.L." She loves to play with B.L.

Play time at the Park

We can't believe how the weather has been in January, we were able to go to the park a couple of times. It was so nice to get outside and run around. She just loves to go down the slide, about 20 times in a row. We have to have 2 people for the slide, one to help her at the top, and the other to catch her at the bottom. Who wants to go to the park with us?

Grandpa's Girl!

This girl is totally a grandpa's girl. Every time we say it's time to go bye bye she says, "Grandpa!" She is always wanting to go to Grandpa's house. Thank goodness Grandma is there too. She just learned to say Grandma now. She loves Grandma too.

January: Pink Toes!

Kaylen loves to get her toes painted. We love it too. She looks so grown up with them done, and not like a baby. Daddy doesn't like it so much because he doesn't want her to look big. She needs to stay little. She is our little girly girl!

16 month Pictures

A good friend who used to live in our neighborhood took these for me. Kaylen didn't know what to do at first, and was a little scared. But she eventually warmed up. Kaylen is adorable! Pretty blue eyes! I love how they turned out. My friend just does them at her house and she is amazing!

January: Trudy Funeral

My dear Aunt Trudy passed away. She was my dad's little sister. She never married. She was waiting for a kidney transplant when she got flu like symptoms. She went to the hospital that night, and the next morning she had a heart attack and passed away. She was a good aunt, and I will always have a special place in my heart for her. It really was a beautiful day for a funeral. The services were perfect. She was a great woman!
