The THINGS people say....
It's amazing the THINGS people say. You would think that people would think before they open their mouth to talk. This week I went back to work. I've been gone for 3 months. Yesterday I was in the break room eating lunch with Brandon and "someone" who will remain nameless, came up to me and said, "wow look at you, are you expecting?" I said, "No, I had my baby 3 months ago." And he said, "Oh, cause your retaining water." I didn't know what to say, but this man kept talking about himself, maybe trying to get over the awkwardness I'm not sure. I guess there is the motivation to start eating better and exercising to get back into shape. The THINGS people say.....
When I was pregnant I was shocked at the THINGS people say too. And again these people will remain nameless. Here are some of the THINGS I remember:
When I was pregnant I was shocked at the THINGS people say too. And again these people will remain nameless. Here are some of the THINGS I remember:
- What is wrong with your face? (ummm it's called the pregnancy glow (a little bit of acne))
- Wow! You got fat! (well, I have a baby in my belly. I guess they haven't seen me for awhile)
- Have you thought of any names? Don't name your baby names like Sally or Becky (Becky is a nickname for Rebekah and that is my name)

Halloween 2010
Halloween is my favorite holiday. It's a time when I can dress up and be anything I want to be. It's a time when I can wear a mask and hide behind it. This year was so much since I had Kaylen to dress up. Here is our little lady bug! The cutest bug ever!

The Bird
Brandon is not usually a hunter, but remember in January he went hunting?

Well, the bird he is holding got stuffed and mounted. I'm not one for the display of animals, but this bird is mighty fine, such pretty coloring. So there he sits on our ledge in our house.

Back to Normal
Things are back to normal. That is in my feet. During my pregnancy I retained A LOT of water, I mean A LOT. It was a hot summer. It was hard to walk, I mean waddle. It took me a long time to get from point A to point B. I had to buy 1 size bigger and extra wide of shoe, cause even flip flops were too tight. Thank goodness things are back to normal in my feet, all my shoes now fit and I have my ankles back. No more KANKLES! Phew!!! What a sigh of relief! Can you see the difference? During my pregnancy this was only the ailment I had. I was never sick, didn't have any issue except for KANKLES! All worth it for my baby Kaylen.
